While our campaign is focused on economic justice, workers' rights, and healthcare, we believe every issue that affects dignity and equality is worth fighting for. Here’s where Alex Bastani stands:

🌿 Protecting Our Environment
Alex believes that climate action isn’t just an environmental issue—it’s an economic and public health issue. He supports investing in renewable energy, holding polluters accountable, and ensuring that clean air and safe water are rights—not privileges—for every Virginian.

⚖️ Defending Civil Rights & Advancing Equity
Whether it’s race, gender, religion, disability, or background—no Virginian should be treated as less than. Alex supports strong enforcement of civil rights laws, fair housing protections, and ending discrimination in all forms. He will use the Lieutenant Governor’s platform to speak up when rights are under attack and work to build a Commonwealth that is truly inclusive.

🌈 LGBTQ+ Rights
Alex proudly stands with the LGBTQ+ community. He believes that no one should fear discrimination because of who they are or who they love. That includes protecting access to affirming healthcare, enforcing anti-discrimination laws, and ensuring that Virginia is a safe, welcoming place for all.

💪 Reproductive Freedom
Alex believes that you cannot fully support a womans reproductive rights without supporting Universal Healthcare. He will never back down from defending a woman’s right to make her own healthcare decisions. He supports codifying Roe v. Wade into Virginia law, expanding access to reproductive care, and opposing any effort to criminalize providers or patients. The government has no place in the exam room—period.

🟰 Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
Alex knows that DEI isn’t just a slogan—it’s a moral and strategic necessity. He supports restoring and expanding programs that ensure government, schools, and employers reflect the communities they serve. Inclusion makes our institutions stronger and more just, and it will remain a pillar of his public service.

These aren’t fringe issues—they’re core to what makes us a fair and free society. As Lieutenant Governor, Alex will speak truth to power and stand firmly on the side of equality, liberty, and justice for all.
